The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, August 15 reveals Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will tell Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) he should fire him.
Also coming up, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will come clean with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Plus, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will be yelled at by two of his siblings. And Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will make herself at home in Adam’s new apartment.
Y&R spoilers tease Jack will tell his sister he’s giving her everything she wanted. But Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will suspect he’s doing a little bait and switch on her wedding day. “What more can I do?” he’ll ask. “What more do you want?” Then Ashley will say he’s right and she’ll thank him for the wedding gift. She’ll also say she appreciates he and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) coming to the wedding.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Traci Says Ashley Doesn’t Trust Them
Diane will tell her they appreciate the invite. But she’ll add that Ashley doesn’t have to worry about Jabot. “Trust me, your father’s company will be in good hands.” Billy will laugh and say Ashley should count herself lucky. “Why don’t you stop gaslighting our sister, you sanctimonious ass!” Billy will shout at Jack. Then Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will get angry and tell them both to stop ruining their wedding and they’ll all leave.
Later, Jack and Diane will be relieved to get home and Jack will admit he’s shocked by Ashley’s reluctance to accept his generous gift. “That’s what shocked you Jack, really?” Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will ask, as she walks in the door. “Our sister had every reason to behave the way she did.” Jack will say the gift came from his heart. “She doesn’t trust you, she doesn’t trust either one of you,” Traci will reply. “And why should she?
Meanwhile, Victoria will ask Nate what he and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) are up to. “Why would she push so hard for something that would jeopardize the position that she’s already in?” she’ll ask. Then Nate will admit Adam has been blackmailing Audra and Victoria won’t be surprised. “The real problem, as I see it, is Adam,” Nate will say. “I think it’s time to finally push your brother off a cliff.”
At the ranch, Audra will tell Victor and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) about Adam’s blackmail. She’ll also apologize for not coming to them right away. Victor will say he wants to hear everything and Audra will tell him about the statutory rape cover-up. “If you let me survive this nightmare at Newman, nothing like this will ever happen again,” she’ll promise. “No it won’t,” Victor will reply.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Audra Gets The Upper Hand
Of course, Victor will call Adam. “I need to see you at the ranch. Now.” As Adam leaves, Sally will be standing at his door with a housewarming gift. He’ll say he has to go to the ranch. “I have been summoned by his majesty.” Sally will offer to go with him. “It’s better if I face him alone,” he’ll reply. But he’ll ask her to stay and order some dinner. So, she’ll look around and find a couple of books in a box. But she’ll also find photos of she and Adam inside the sleeve cover of a hardback.
Finally, Adam will arrive at the ranch and see Audra sitting there. “Did you really think you were going to get away with this?” Victor will ask his son. Adam will smirk and say he’s sorry but he’ll admit he just tried to get what he wanted. “I’m disappointed in you though, I didn’t think you were a coward,” he’ll say to Audra, and they’ll start bickering. “Enough!” Victor will shout. “You shut up and listen now.” He’ll tell Audra he admires her for coming forward and he’ll let her off the hook. And she’ll scowl at Adam as she leaves.
“Son, how dare you go behind my back like this?” Victor will ask. “I mean, blackmail?” But Adam will point out he made his fortune doing the same kind of thing countless times. “This McCall disaster cannot go public,” Victor will warn him. “So whatever evidence you’re holding over Audra Charles must be eliminated.” Then Victor will say he should fire him but he won’t, because he just received a lot of investment money from Europe. “To finance your company!” But he’ll warn Adam he’s hanging by a thread.
